Sometimes we skip (or drag our feet) through the day, and even when skipping, it is hard to bring to mind a Happy moment of the day when someone asks.
All the books say … “Ask your kids their three best moments of the day …”
But are we able to do the same?
For me today, that fleeting happy moment, was when I brought my grizzly, grumpy four year old from preschool. I was wondering how I was going to entertain/ play with him, when even picking him up was fraught with a grumpy expression and stubborn mule-headedness.
But as we walked through the front door, he turned to me and asked, “Mum, can I play with the Lego?”
And that was it. He was Happy, and so was I.
