There is nothing really fun about this chore. It is a pain, oftentimes frustrating, and can be fraught with arguments if you choose to do it while your children are watching.
However during this month of Spring, in my part of the world, it is a natural progression to start thinking about ‘clearing out’. Things often get cluttered during winter, and we hold onto things, or shove things into corners not ready to deal with them yet. Now is the time …
And I can’t even say that I’m at the head of the movement, as I received a bag of hand-me-down clothes from a girlfriend yesterday – it’s so wonderful to receive something like this when it is unexpected and like Christmas.
So this is my challenge to myself … to clean out my kids wardrobes and pass on the too small clothes to someone else. So while the job of doing the clearing out isn’t much fun, the passing on is – you can be the giver of somebody else’s Fleeting Moment of Happiness this week.
