Time for a coffee with a friend.
Sometimes, as mums we just keep chugging on, doing everything that needs doing. We keep moving, keep putting one step in front of the other, not much thought attached, just doing, doing, doing. We don’t even realise that we haven’t taken a look out at the view, or taken a pause and grounded our feet.
Today, after 2 days of the world knocking on my head and whispering quietly that I needed to take a mental break, it got a little louder and I listened.
