So you want to change …
You are committed to change!
You have read books, done reflections, worked on yourself, spent some time in your own thoughts, and know how you want it to be … and yet, you still find yourself back at the same point again and again, and you’re just not sure how that happened …. AGAIN.
I’ve been there – I know EXACTLY how you are feeling. It’s so easy to think that you’re failing at everything, cause you can’t even figure out how to do what you REALLY want to do, let alone try and cope with new situations, or, heaven forbid, the washing machine breaking down.
You’re NOT failing, it’s just not easy to make change sometimes, especially if everything else in your life stays the same. We get triggered by the same things, we get upset by the same things, we find ourselves reacting by habit rather than thinking first and then following through the way we want to.
If you find yourself in this situation again and again …
- Take a breath
- Recommit to the way you want to continue
- Take one step in the direction that you want to go
- BE happy that you took that one step!
If you take one step every day (1 step is all it takes) in the direction you want to go, to the change you want to have in your life, then you will get there.
