This is so important.
Taking an evening walk, a stretch before bed, an early morning meditation, or even just a couple of quiet breaths before the next activity. Even though we may feel okay, the general hubbub of noise and activities drains even the most extraverted of us.
The more busy you feel, and the less sleep you are getting, is a strong indication that you are probably overdoing things. It doesn’t mean that you have to take a few days off and hide in a cave, but if you don’t want to run yourself into sickness, or extreme stress, it is a good idea to take time a couple of times a day, to breathe.
We can go through times of busy-ness and stress, and we definitely can enjoy the stimulation and opportunity for socialising, it’s a matter of getting through these times with your humour, your patience, and your relationship with your children still intact.
