Leading into a new year it’s always good to think ahead to things that you want to do.
What experiences do you and your kids want to partake in? What life goals are coming to fruition?
Last year we did this as a family, and individually, and it has been highly satisfying to see those goals happen, even if we weren’t sure if they were all possible when the year started.
This is what you do:
- Write down 2-3 big goals that you want to personally achieve this year.
- Write down 2-3 goals that you want to do as a family.
- Set a 3 month alarm/ notification on you phone or computer to check in with you on how your goals are going, or if you are taking steps to achieve them.
Sharing experiences and goals with your kids is a great way to build your relationship with them. I believe that it is experiences in life that bond us to people – so build your bond with your kids and make some plans for the year ahead.
