This morning I was being read to as part of the morning routine by my son, and we had a quick discussion about what he thought happened after the story finished.
This is a really good thing to talk about with your children by the way. As well as being a vital clue to how children take in information.
My attitude was that if the ‘frog went BANG’ from blowing up too big then he died. My son was like “I don’t know that, because it doesn’t say that.”
And this is the point. He is a Sensing learner and learns from what is in front of him, he doesn’t look forward to a why? Or a what if? Or what happens next? Not in his wheel house. Not his deal.
If you ask this question and you get a long involved discussion about possibilities and imagination, then you will most likely have an Intuitive learner on your hands, but if they don’t know and have no interest in guessing then you probably have a Sensing learner.
